Kazakh delegation visited Masdar City in Abu Dhabi
ASTANA. January 19. KAZINFORM Within the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) a Kazakh delegation has visited Masdar City in Abu Dhabi.
Head of the Kazakh delegation, Chairman of the Trade Committee of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade Aidar Kazybayev noted: "Masdar is an example, which characterizes the state that is able to be actively engaged in innovative activities for solution of the most pressing problems of the mankind. I welcome the UAE role in search for the concept of sustainable development and dissemination of renewable energy generation. We will strive to strengthen our relations within promotion of Astana's bid to host EXPO 2017."
Within the visit the Kazakh delegation surveyed a campus and a library of the Masdar University.
A Kazakh delegation is represented director of the department of electricity and coal industry of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies Zhakyp Bokenbayev, Adviser to Deputy Prime Minister Akmaral Baitemirova, deputy director of the department of foreign economic policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Gaukhar Beiseyeva, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Parasat Holding JSC Lyazzat Myltykbayeva. The delegation was accompanied by Kazakh Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the UAE Askar Mussinov.
The delegation's visit was held within the 5th annual World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi on January 16-19. Kazakhstan has presented a stand on promotion of Astana' bid to host EXPO 2017.
