PM urged Oil&Gas Ministry, KMG and Samruk-Kazyna to work out issue on running gas pipeline to Akmola region

AKMOLA REGION. January 21. KAZINFORM Prime Minister Karim Massimov has urged the Ministry of Oil and Gas, KazMunayGas JSC and Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund to work out an issue regarding running a gas pipeline to Akmola region.

Karim Massimov has given such an instruction at a meeting with the body of active functionaries, where he introduced new governor Kairat Kozhamzharov.

Earlier at the meeting the body of active functionaries of Akmola region asked K.Massimov to consider an issue on gasification of the region for preservation of the resort zone.

Besides, the Premier gave a number of instructions to K.Kozhamzhrov. In particular, to control implementation of the programs on employment and housing, continue industrial projects in the region.

The Premier outlined that Akmola region is agricultural. In this connection it is necessary to develop livestock breeding and grow agricultural crops.

The Head of the Government also outlined that the issue of food belt around the city of Astana and Burabay resort zone is of priority in the Government.

Massimov urged Samruk-Kazyna Fund, KazMunayGas JSC and the Ministry of Oil and as to consider this proposal.
